The belts and the drive belt for a washing machine can wear out or can be damaged and this may lead to noisy operation or to stopping of the washer completely. The good news is that a damaged belt can be replaced easily. You can remove a back of the panel to the washer in order to gain access to the belt or to follow the steps when removing the belt. You can loosen the bolt of a motor bracket and move the motor and put it in the slack of a belt. The motor bracket is something simple with the metal brackets which hold the motor housing in its place, and if this is not the case, the washing machine repairs Radlett are needed. You should remove the old belt and stretch the new one in the place of pulleys. You have to put tension on the new belt and use a hammer handle or a short pry bar in order to push the motor into position and to tighten the bolt in its adjustable bracket.
