The belts and the drive belt for a washing machine can wear out or can be damaged and this may lead to noisy operation or to stopping of the washer completely. The good news is that a damaged belt can be replaced easily. You can remove a back of the panel to the washer in order to gain access to the belt or to follow the steps when removing the belt. You can loosen the bolt of a motor bracket and move the motor and put it in the slack of a belt.
